Nicole Lara is a Mental Health Counseling intern in her final year of her Master’s program at Molloy University.


Having spent the past decade working with diverse individuals in corporate and spiritual settings, Nicole brings a unique set of life experiences to her work as a counselor -understanding the delicate interplay between one’s innate strengths and universal aspirations towards wellness.


As a client, you can expect your work with Nicole to be centered around your lived experiences, environment and culture as you collaborate and work towards your wellness goals. Nicole utilizes eclectic interventions and a person-centered approach to counseling, while working to ensure clients feel heard, seen and safe.


Nicole is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) where she presented at the 2024 Convention Expo, the New York Mental Health Counselors Association (NYMHCA) where she served as the 2023-2024 Student Representative Board Member and the the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES) where she was recently nominated for the 2024 NARACES Emerging Leaders Program.

Nicole looks forward to enhancing her clinical skills at HHP and is expected to graduate in May 2025. Nicole is supervised by Chana Topek Diamond, LCSW
