Helping Hands Psychotherapy

Marina Rabinovich is a dedicated social work intern in her first year of studies at Stony Brook University, with an expected graduation in May 2026. Having earned both a BA and  MA in English Literature, Marina spent over a decade working with adolescents as an educator before making the transition to social work. Her background in education allows her to bring a deep understanding of human development and communication to her current role.

Marina is passionate about cultivating authentic, judgment-free connections where clients feel respected, supported, and encouraged to bring their whole self to the therapeutic process. As a certified yoga teacher, she incorporates mindfulness and compassionate self-inquiry into her work, believing that exploring patterns and attachments can lead to a freer, more present life.

Guided by her conviction that all people seek happiness, Marina is committed to helping clients carve paths of purpose and joy.

Marina is thrilled to be part of the team at HHP, where she is supervised by Chana Topek Diamond, LCSW through May 2025.
