Helping Hands Psychotherapy

Shanieza "Shaney" Juman is a licensed social worker with over 10 years of experience working with individuals, children, families, and the geriatric population.  Shanieza received her Masters Degree from Adelphi University in 2010.   

 

Shaney has experience using individual and group therapy to better serve the Veteran population, individuals with health issues, and those with terminal illness and their caregivers. Her expertise in grief  and bereavement counseling has allowed her to obtain a certification in Hospice and Palliative Care. Shaney is also SIFI certified which allows her to provide training for new social workers. 

 

Shaney has a passion for working with families and helping them to navigate the challenges that sometimes arise.  You will find support, compassion and empathy as you work together to explore feelings, learn coping skills and find happiness, inner strength and healing.
