aziz elmadani, PhD, MHC-LP

Dr. Aziz Elmadani is a therapist who believes in creating a safe, supportive space where people feel seen, heard, and empowered. He works with children, teens, and adults navigating life changes, anxiety, depression, and relationship or identity challenges.

Dr. Aziz uses a down-to-earth, strengths-based approach, drawing from person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused techniques to help clients build coping skills, gain insight, and feel more confident in themselves.

He’s especially passionate about supporting fathers’ mental health, and offers space for men to explore the emotional side of parenting, identity, and connection.

In addition to his work with clients, Aziz has taught counseling and play therapy to graduate students and brings a calm, thoughtful presence to his work. He holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from UNC Charlotte, and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from New Jersey City University.

Dr. Aziz is supervised by Dr. Ashley Davis Ford-Graham, PhD, LMHC, NCC, PMH-C
